About Emma

With over 30 years of horticultural experience and more than a decade as a florist, Emma Powell has built My Wild Caravan around her love of flowers, nature and the changing seasons.

At Parc y Delyn, beneath the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire, the flower beds and gardens surrounding her home provide much of the inspiration and many of the flowers for her work.

Emma creates natural, expressive floral designs for weddings, celebrations and special occasions, alongside seasonal bouquets and freshly cut flowers for the local community.

Growing with nature

Creating a haven for wildlife and pollinators is central to Emma's approach. Her flowers are grown without harmful chemicals, with an emphasis on encouraging biodiversity and working in harmony with the natural environment.

Sustainability also shapes her floristry. For larger events, Emma sources additional flowers from local and British growers wherever possible, carefully considering the environmental practices of suppliers when flowers need to be sourced from further afield.

The result is floristry that feels wild, seasonal and deeply connected to the landscape in which it grows.
